The 2018-19 Tigard Girls Basketball team won their school record 26th game of the season defeating Three Rivers League rival, the West Linn Lions, 44-34 at the Chiles Center in the consolation (4th/6th place) championship on Saturday, March 9th. Campbell Gray (24 points, 7 rebounds), Dani Lyons (17 points / 5 for 7 from the 3 point line), Ajae Holdman (9 rebounds), Paige LaFountain (6 rebounds, 3 assists) and superb defensive effort from Delaney Leavitt and Sarah Lamet, helped the Tigers in the victory. Dani Lyons was named Tigard’s player of the game Saturday morning while Campbell Gray received 1st Team All Tourney recognition (voted on by other coaches at the tournament) at the conclusion of the 6A Girls Championship game. After a brilliant 4 year high school girls basketball career at Tigard, our seniors (Campbell, Dani & Paige) finished with 95 wins and 19 losses, 4 Three Rivers League titles and 3 State Trophies (2nd in 2016 and 4th in 2018 & 2019). Great job to all our Tigard Girls Basketball players at every level for an incredible and memorable 2018-19 basketball season. Go Tigers!
